ORBITAL SANITATIONPRIVACY POLICY

Effective September 4, 2026
The short version: the game has no accounts, no analytics, and no backend. Your progress lives in your own browser. The only parties that may set cookies or collect data are Google and its partners, when they serve an ad.

What stays in your browser

Your pilot profile — completed worlds, settings, render quality, trace length, and the ZIP code you can optionally enter in Settings — is stored in your browser's localStorage, like a memory card. It never leaves your device except as described below, and you can wipe it at any time with RESET PROFILE in the game's Settings, or by clearing your browser data.

The optional ZIP code

If you enter a ZIP code, the game uses it only to decide which local sponsor boards to show. The lookup is answered from a table bundled with the game whenever possible. If your ZIP isn't in that table, the ZIP code alone — nothing else — is sent to the public Zippopotam.us geocoding service to fetch its coordinates. Leave the field blank and no lookup ever happens.

Sponsor boards

The billboards inside the game world are static entries served from this site's own files. They set no cookies, run no scripts, and track nothing. Clicking one simply opens the sponsor's website in a new tab, after which that site's own privacy policy applies.

Advertising (Google AdSense)

Interstitial ads shown between shifts are served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure these ads, and may personalize them based on your visits to this and other websites. You can read how Google uses this data at policies.google.com/technologies/ads and manage ad personalization at adssettings.google.com. Where local law requires it (for example in the EEA and UK), a consent message is shown before any such cookies are set, and declining still lets you play.

Hosting

The site is served by GitHub Pages, which may collect standard technical logs (such as IP addresses) as described in GitHub's privacy statement. This site has no access to those logs' contents beyond aggregate traffic.

Children

The game is a general-audience arcade game and collects no personal information from anyone, children included.
